hello from me!
Hello one and all!
A Happy New Year to all of you! For a start, let me introduce myself - I am neither Edmund nor Shandy, but a friend of theirs called Benjamin. I've been Edmund's classmate since we were 13 (we're almost 30 now) and I got to know Shandy at just about that time too. Throughout the many many years, we've always been good friends and it was never more than 2 weeks that we've never met up for some sort of activity. Except when I was overseas of course.
First and foremost, I must thank Edmund for the honor of granting me posting rights to Shandy's blog. And to dearest Jolly Shandy - your suffering will not be in vain, Edmundy and I will try to share with the public what you have been through and what they can do to prevent it. (I still disagree that Edmund can't write though, he just needs to write more!)
Whilst browsing through the comments, I see that some of you are also going through stage 4 cancers of various sorts. Firstly, let's establish some facts.
- It is a fact that most cancers can go away as easily as they appeared.
- It is a fact that a high percentage of most cancers are related to diet, tobacco and lifestyle.
Recently, we've met up with Lai Hock, a friend who has done extensive volunteering work, and more interestingly, in the area of the terminally ill. Throughout his work, he has seen a large number of patients whom have been told their condition has turned terminal - go home and heal themselves - in some cases, they have even outlived the doctor!
Miracles start with yourself. Miracles require one to surrender, make sense of the situation, envision a mission and purpose - and fight. Miracles requires one to give up hatred, cynicism, anger and vengeance. Speak to your body - talk to the cancer cells, they are after all living things! Fight. And by fighting, I mean that you should consume all the raw, natural things you can, raw vegetables, wholesome fruits, eat foods rich in enzymes, go easy on consuming flesh and breath. If you are fit enough, exercise as much as you can. I have heard that cancers have learnt to evolve in poorly oxygenated environments. By introducing a large amount of oxygen in the bloodstream by exercise, you are retarding the cancer's ability to grow.
If you are a medical professional and find something wrong with what i have just written - please understand that i did not come up with this on my own, all this is information by people who have been told they have only "x months to live", and survived till today.
If you have a friend who is undergoing the same fate, we hope you can use some of this information to your advantage. Wear bright colours, create a lot of positive energy, smile a lot, talk to him/her like it is a normal day and encourage them to eat a gazillion tons of fruits, vegetables and fruit juices.
If you want to speak to Edmund, myself or even Lai Hock (who is an excellent speaker) - drop us a message and let us know. We are not medical professionals, just fellow humans who know what it feels like to loose a loved one.

On The New Paper
hi everyone,
my sister was featured on The New Paper today (04/1/2009). I could better understand the article as previously Wan Bao wrote in Chinese. (I didn't do well in Chinese classes back in Secondary School).
I would like to thank Crystal from The New Paper for the article written. I have no intention to be rude when you made the call as I have been receiving many anonymous calls ever since my mobile number was published on the papers.
All I can say is that the money spent on the obituaries was well spend. 2 half page obituaries, 2
articles written in Chinese and 1 written in The New Paper.
Cheers
